In this episode, Chantel, a light-skinned Ivorian beauty, lithe and athletic is stretching seductively in her morning workout routine. Across the road, she sees Sadia, Abiba’s assistant being pushed into a taxi. She calls her friend and they rush over to the shop to alert Abiba.
At the shop, they tell Abiba as much in their accented English. Abiba, stunned, moves to call Sadia’s phone but it rings in the shop. She breaks into tears and calls Yoofi, her fiancé. Yoofi and Abiba, joined by Chantel and her friend, lodge a complaint at the police station.
At the Tabernacle of Confessions church, Skido, an ex-convict has a tete-a-tete with Osofo Josephus. They discuss life and make plans for the future.
On their return to the shop, Grace arrives. She hugs her friend, Abiba and comforts her as Yoofi stands by.
Osofo and Skido break up a fight among some youth and learn of Sadia’s abduction. He parts ways with Skido and proceeds to the shop.
In a sparsely furnished space, Sadia is bound and gagged in a corner with two men standing over her. An elderly woman comes in with a calabash and forces its contents down her throat, while the men hold her down.
